Pismo Beach Clam Festival
The 70th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festical is October 21,22,23, 2016!
Generations of families look forward to spending these 3 days overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Pismo Beach at this highly anticipated event which attracts visitors from all over the state!
Live Music, Beer & Wine Stage & Pier Pubs, Vendors, and Entertainment
Friday’s Wine Walk is from 5pm-7:30pm, Stroll through downtown merchants to sample local wines and tasty treats
Saturday events include Surfing from 8am – 4pm, A Parade with Floats, Cars, Bands and Clowns 10am, Best Local Clam Chowder Contest Noon-2pm (or until the chowder runs out), Beer/Wine stage & Beer Pubs and Vendors.
Sunday’s Clam Dig is from Noon-1pm where children 11 and younger dig for clam shells in the sand by the Pier and win prizes, The Clam Bake begins at 1:30pm which features a meal baked in the sand by Sea Venture Restaurant and enjoyed on the Pier, Beer/Wine stage & Beer Pubs and Vendors.
No general admission charge, however prices for events are: Wine Walk: $20, Chowder Contest: $10, Clam Bake: $25, 2 day Pass: Wine Walk, Chowder Contest & 2 Drinks: $30. Tickets Available now!
