Development Spotlight: Toscano

Toscano is a community of 160 single family homes built with a Tuscan style architecture about 2 miles from downtown San Luis Obispo. Midland Pacific Homes, based in Atascadero and with over 40 years in the business, is building the development in three phases. Located at the base of South Hills and accessed primarily from Margarita Avenue, the developer has four model homes to preview. Quite a few homes have already sold with more under construction. There are 15 floorplans to choose from ranging from a 2-bedroom home with just over 1,300 square feet to a 4-bedroom home with just under 2,300 square feet. The architecture style was inspired by the hills and villages of Tuscany with the developer having a vision of old world charm coupled with modern amenities. Standard features available with all homes in the development include 9′ ceilings, granite counters and soft close cabinetry, a fireplace, plus energy and water efficient appliances. Exterior features include a hand troweled stucco finish, dual pane windows, clay tile roofs and brick paver walkways.
