Can you believe it? It’s that time of year already! Time to get your boots on and head on out to the fairgrounds. If you haven’t been the to the California Mid-State Fair, its huge and it has pretty much something for everyone…concerts, art exhibits, food, a petting zoo, sandcastle building, and let’s not forget Mutton Bustin’!  A  few of the big names stealing the stage this year are Aerosmith, Keith Urban, 311 and funny man Jeff Dunham. For families, the fair is a kids paradise. They’ve brought in rides to keep tiny tots to teenagers entertained all day. Grown-ups, ready for a little winding down? Mosey on over to Mission Square at 5pm and see who’s pouring the Wine of the Day.

Oh yeah, did I mention the free shows?  Smashmouth, Blue Oyster Cult, guitar slinger Coco Montoya, Southern rockers Cross Canadian Ragweed,  and shimmy shaking Chubby Checker are all playing on the Fort Frontier Stage…you got it, free!

A couple of tips…get your tickets ahead of time at Albertsons for a discount and park and ride a shuttle over rather than trying to find parking.
