Art in the Park in Shell Beach is a sight to be seen driving along the 101! Canopies line the park from corner to corner. Vendors welcome locals and visitors alike with booths overflowing with art, handmade furniture, clothing, live music, and much more. The art scene on the Central Coast is alive and buzzing and continues to grow with the support of events like Art in the Park. It’s a great way to get to know some of the talented local artists and designers, and get a little shopping done while you’re at it! You may be lucky enough to get an intimate look at an artist in action, which is always a treat. July 4, 2010 – Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves

Art in the Park at the Dinosaur Caves is proud to announce its third year of promoting local artisans of the Central Coast. This once a month event takes place at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs. The event takes place the first Sunday of every month May through October with over seventy local artists and craftsmen selling and displaying their work. The art include paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass artist, textile, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and much more. Along with the sale of fine arts, the event offers live music, hands-on children’s activities, fresh flowers and plants, BBQ, and on-site massage.
